On July 1, 2025, Menicon Co., Ltd. (head office: 21-19 Aoi 3, Naka-ku, Nagoya; CEO: Koji Kawaura) announced that it had absorbed and merged two 100%-owned subsidiaries: Menicon Singapore Sales Pte. Ltd. (head office: Singapore) as the surviving company and Oculus Visioncare (S) Pte. Ltd. (head office: Singapore) as the extinct company.
By merging the two sales subsidiaries in Singapore, we will optimize the management resources and sales network of both companies, thus further strengthening the sales abilities and promoting the growth of the Menicon Group in Southeast Asia, where the contact lens market is expected to flourish owing to an increase in the youth population and income.
