What is keratoconus?
Keratoconus is a deformation of the cornea which thins gradually and loses its normal spherical shape, eventually taking on an irregular cone shape. This distortion causes problems such as blurred vision, and distorted or poor distance vision.
This cornea's distortion requires to wear specialized contact lenses.
Keratoconus usually affects both eyes, but not with the same severity.
Which kind of contact lenses?
Menicon offers many lens geometries adapted to the progression of keratoconus. Lenses are in manufactured in Z material to allow maximum intake of oxygen to your eyes.
You can follow the link just below to get more information about keratoconus and find out about the Rose K family of lenses for keratoconus and irregular cornea. Just click on the banner.
